Canadian experts say more feet have washed ashore since August than ever before. While some dismiss it as a natural increase of foot migration, others see it as a sign that the disembodied foot population is out of sync. When asked about the disturbing trend, Constable Charlene Brooks stated, "It could take weeks or months."

On CBC Newsworld today the CBC's reporter, Paul Hunter, said "About half the Afghans turned and fled, so there's clearly some work to be done see box at right in link below]." But now he's rather changed the words he uses in print--see bolded bit below.
